Mayor Arifin Reviews House Renovation Location in Bungur

Central Jakarta Mayor Arifin, reviewed an uninhabitable house on Jalan Kalibaru Timur, Gang I, RT 07/06, Bungur Urban Village, Senen, Monday (2/25). As planned, this house will be renovated by Baznas Bazis Jakarta through the bedah rumah program (house renovation).

According to him, the house occupied by four people deserves to be renovated, because of its worrying condition. Besides severe leaks when it rains, the house with an area of ​​14 square meters is also prone to collapse.

He explained the house would have two floors with a total building area of ​​around 28 square meters. The first floor would be completed with a living room, a kitchen, and a bathroom as well as two bedrooms on the second floor.

This renovation would be executed soon and would be completed in a month. Hopefully, the owner could celebrate Idulfitri with his family comfortably in the house.

During the work process, Baznas Bazis would facilitate a rented house near the location. His party was also slated to build a public toilet in RT 07/06, Bungur Urban Village.

"This is a commitment from the government to be present for its residents," he asserted.

The homeowner, Aliyah (53), said she was very grateful that her house would be renovated. Indeed, she did not have the money to fix her house.

Since three days ago, she and her family have been temporarily living in a house rented by Baznas Bazis, while waiting for the renovation of her house to be completed in March.

"Alhamdulillah (thank God), our family was able to get a house renovation program from Baznas Bazis, thank you, Mr. Village Head and Mr. Mayor," she closed.
